When you get a refund
- The competition is cancelled, including when a competition that uses the refund rule doesn't reach its minimum entries.
- You were charged twice for the same entry.
- Money was taken but no entry code was given, and we can't add your entry.
When you don't
- You change your mind after paying.
- Your poem doesn't win a prize.
- Your entry is disqualified for breaking the rules (for example, copied or AI-written work).
- A competition with scaled prizes goes ahead below its minimum. The prizes are reduced instead.
How refunds work
Refunds go back to the account or card you paid with, through Razorpay. We start the refund within 7 working days; your bank may take another 5 to 7 working days to show it.
Asking for a refund
Email contact@sherbaazi.com with your entry code or Razorpay payment ID (it's on your payment receipt), and tell us what happened.
Cancellations
You can't cancel an entry after paying. You can edit or leave an unpaid entry at any time. Nothing is charged until you pay.
Delivery
We don't ship anything. Entry codes, results and winners' certificates are delivered online and by email.
